Southwark 2030 event @ Kingswood Arts – Weds 5 July (registration required)

The following email has been received from Southwark Council

Back in January the Council together with local partners launched Southwark 2030. We wanted to engage with residents and those who work, study and visit the borough to help shape the future of Southwark. With your help, we spoke to over 2000 people between January and April through our conversation events, listening events and the survey. We now want to test back what we heard to make sure we don’t miss anything as we bring together a shared vision for the borough in 2030.

There will be different ways to get involved over the summer including online, as well as information and suggestion boxes in our libraries and other venues across the borough, but at the heart of our engagement will be a series of public workshops. So sign up now and get involved. The details are below.

Sign-up to public workshops: we are hosting 4 public workshops during which we’ll test back what we heard so far and get views on some of the most important things we should be focusing on between now and 2030. They will be up to 2 hours long and as a thank you we are offering a £10 voucher to participants. The first one is Kingswood Arts (Kingswood House) in Dulwich on Wednesday 5 July (1-3pm) – all of them will take place in July. Find the one that’s best for you here.

Online and other in-person options: there will be online options along with information and suggestion boxes up in libraries and other venues across the borough throughout July and August. Keep an eye on the webpage where we will update with more information in the coming weeks.
